So, journal's been overdue, but do we even write these things anymore? LOL

So, a lot's been happening, I moved out in late August and have been working on my voiceacting career. Right now, I am officially a voiceover artist for an up and coming theme park ride: Kooky Trails. It's an indie dark ride based in Southern California (I think) and will hopefully be open some time early next year. A HUGE thank you to everyone at Wondermation Productions for making this dream a reality. Also, been pretty hectic, gone through a lot, up and down but in the meantime, I now have a job as a CSA, working down the nearest retailer which is only a five minute walk from my house, so that's neat, hoping to save those wages for something big and for a personal trip next year, been really enjoying my job and I feel like I've been given proper training compared to my last job that I quit nearly eight years ago, mostly enjoy using the tills, less stressful and in your face like it was before. So yeah, voice artist, CSA, I'm probably the last of the dodos while at it lol. Been attending board game meets every thursday and having a blast with it, on a day when I don't work (which is most days except thursdays and saturdays). I've got a personal trip planned soon and not sure what else except probably keeping busy with my job, you don't know how hard it is getting one this early in the year, proud to have actually gone myself and applied for it, had no idea I'd even get the job but, here I am. I can't wait to share more news Wondermation has to offer, being part of this group makes me feel like I truly am part of a team, if only it was a proper workplace, like headquarters where we all get to enjoy ourselves, goof off, have fun, keep busy, kind of like Rare Ltd.'s hq lol. So yeah, not much else, just glad to be out of the last hell hole, only thing I miss is the wildlife, but for now, working 24 hours and getting paid to do voiceovers is just the cherry on top of a fantastic start of the year. So, I don't know who even makes journals anymore but then again I'm barely on DeviantArt as much. Already halfway through the year and it's been...bland and painful to say the least through complications and emotions and other things. BUT earlier, like about six hours ago, I had woken up from a sleep after a quick nap for an hour or a bit and as I awoke, I felt really run down in my nose and I went into the kitchen to take my meds and grabbed a kit just in case. Well...that time has come. I've now tested positive for Covid-19 and as it's gotten late, I feel bloody awful! It's like it's turning into a fucking fad or something now all over the news, but it's not, first Covid, now monkeypox and I end up with the latter. Worst part is I'm too afraid to fall asleep now and now waking up any day now. Doesn't matter who you are, or anyone, this is one horrible and nasty virus, right now I'm literally so weak and aching all over, feeling tight feelings in my chest and stomach and I've got this high temperature that rivals that of a fully charged phone. Also it doesn't help that now I have to self isolate and am stuck in my own little room for a few days or hell knows when, but this is seriously one terrifying shock right now. I've had both jabs and a booster but...my anxiety level doesn't want to believe it.

Heya, so those who've seen my post not too long ago, I am working on a musical arrangement on the beloved Moon theme from Ducktales and it inspired me to bring some creativity to the table in a video, but, the creativity isn't just from me, but from you guys if you are interested! Particularly, Della Duck themed during her journey on the moon and her temptation to get back home to her boys. After hearing Paget Brewster's beautiful singing voice and learning of the origin of the moon theme, I knew I had to try this out for myself. I make my music files on MuseScore and I absolutely love doing so...or Deweying so lol! I rarely ever make audiofiles with more than just a piano so this is going to be really fun. I'm still going in and out with how to do it, but if anyone wants to hear samples, they can let me know and I can send maybe a link to my W.I.P. THERE is no limit until I believe there's enough for my arrangement since I am not sure how to finish it, since I don't know anyone who's good at tinkering with audio, but I do not want my W.I.P wrecked tweaked after I've worked so hard on it, unless someone's willing to contribute to the audio too and fix up any problems, I'm not a musical pro sadly. Heya lovelies and Merry Christmas! Not my fav time of the year but what the hey, currently spending it at my mum's so that's a neat little change, cold but still feels more at home than ever with four cats, one dog, two tanks worth of fish and my big brother who's making money off his Twitch Streams! I don't like going into too much detail as there's not much to say lately, but other than the big opportunity with my soon to be voice acting role for a theme park ride, nothing's much happened. Other voice acting happenings, there's plenty of things I can't talk about yet with my opportunity in Kooky Trails since it's still early days yet, so I'll let the main key members spread that out first before I can have my say. Now, also one of my online best mates and All Bad Cards pals :iconspongicx: has been working on making an animated series based off his comic strip series "Knick, Clunk and Treela", and me, my partner :iconhhog: and :iconLuke-the-F0x: and :iconMollyDollies: are all voice actors in it alongside the creator. ATM, still in early stages but Clint's care and effort's worth it.

Two weeks ago, I got to spend a whole day at Cotswold Wildlife Park as a zookeeper for a day, despite the expensive price, it was absolutely worth it and I loved every moment of it! I mostly just fed the selected animals given out to me to feed but it was all brilliant! I did get a big bruise on my right knee after getting nipped by one of the penguins but she was clearly boss chicken! XD

Felt amazing getting to see creatures I never thought I'd ever get to pet or feed and I wish I could do it more often! <3 Alas, there's no way I can rake in £250 just to do that every time and get lots of goody bags as thank yous xD...but free lunch! Yep! They were that generous! As an animal lover, it felt like I was doing something I loved again, other than voice acting and since animals to me are people, it was the cherry on top of a shitty year.

CONTEST IDEA - Art featured in video contest! So, only yesterday, I've been so chilled and as I sat down at my laptop and right now, something hit me! I'm doing a musical arrangement for the Moon theme off Ducktales, would anyone be interested in drawing up some artwork to be shown in the video for when I upload it on YouTube? It'd be perfect if it related to Della Duck and her "adventure" on the moon, specifically. I could have probably done this in a seperate post but egh.
